I worked alongside Steve at the shop from 1979 to when I retired in 2021. Although Steve had no training in the automotive field, he was not afraid to tackle any job that came in. One instance i remember fondly was Steve working on a late ‘50s Ford Skyliner Retractable Hardtop. This was a complex system involving seven motors, limit switches, relays, and over 600 feet of wiring just for the retractable hardtop. No other shop wanted the job. Terri, my husband Karl and I have known Steve since the late 70's. Steve was a card and we all had lots of laughs. I am sure that you had your hands full with him thru the years. He was a kind friend to us and he will be missed. Sorry for your loss and may your memories be a comfort to you in this trying time.
