Not sure what to say?

My condolences to the Harchick family from the Howard family

Steve will be greatly missed. He always seemed to make us feel that he truly cared about our struggles and could identify with our families. He was always upbeat. I spoke with him on a monthly basis and even though I was having a great day I always felt better after he called. Steve listened and was cheerful and encouraging. He was truly a people person. I will pray for his family for strength and comfort. Just know he will never be forgotten. I am so sorry for your loss.

I worked with Steve at Oppenheimer and had an outstanding friendship! Steve surely was an outstanding person and I will remember him with great respect, I will miss Steve deeply- till we meet again.

I am at a loss for wordsSteve was the kindest, smartest and most patient man that I had the privilege of calling my friend. Sooo sorry for his wife and children as they deal with their loss.

We knew Steve through Oppenheimer. He was the most friendly, helpful and knowledgeable guy. We will miss catching up with you, Steve.

Dear Harchick family,

Words fall short, we are heartbroken to hear about the passing of Stephen.

Please know that our thoughts are with you in this incredibly difficult time. We send you all
our strength, love, and deepest condolences.

Though we are far away from our son Luke while he studies together with Jackson in the
U.S., it gave us great comfort knowing that he was welcomed with such warmth and
kindness by your entire family.
We are...

We met Steve through my aunt & uncle several years ago. We live in PA and drove to MI last year. We stopped in Steve’s office chatted for a while. He told us he was going to his son’s soccer game.Steve was so proud of all his children. He was such a positive & caring person. We always enjoyed talking with him. He surely will be missed.

Sarah, Jackson, Grant and Kate,
I am holding you all close in prayer today as you say goodbye to the most kind, loving and gentle soul I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. I worked with Stephen at Oppenheimer, I was a bond trader back then, he called me Martinka (he said the long version of Marty). LOL Stephen, or as I called him, "Songbird" always knew when I was having "a day." He would send the trading desk email's with a song (lyrics changed to fit my crazy vibe). They always...

Quick wit and a kind heart. Remembering the “Big Boy” years. Fortunate to have had time with Steve and the “Gang.” I’m so sorry for your loss.
