We are so sorry to hear about your Dad. He was a great guy. We loved him very much and he will be missed. He and Diane were very close to us for a long time. Our prayers are with you.

Stephen's Obituary

Stephen D. Larson Sr. passed away 2-21-14. He was born 9-19-44 to Eldon & Florence Larson in Tacoma WA. He's a graduate of Franklin Pierce High School class of 1963. He enlisted in the Navy in 1963 and served for 2 years on the USS MAURY AGS-16. He married his first wife Margaret McNally in 1965 and together they had 4 children. He worked as a Machinist for American National Can for 30 years where he was very involved in the IAM Local 79 union, and was shop Steward for many years. There he met his 2nd wife Diane and were married in 1991 and gained 2 step daughters. He loved to do wood work; he also loved to buy storage units, before it was cool. He was able to do one of his bucket list road trips last year that he enjoyed so very much. He loved his Children & Grandchildren. His Grandchildren meant the world to him and each and every one was very special to him. He was always a happy, loving, caring & giving person who will be missed by many. He is survived by his mother Florence Rowan of Tacoma. Brothers: Ken (Kathy) Larson of Bellevue, Bob (Carol) Rowan of Lake Tapps, & Sister Barbara (Ray) Seeberger of Steilacoom. Daughters, Laurie (Bruce) Ryan, Joshua, Bubba & Amanda Reed of Auburn, Tammy (Mark) Mathew, Meagan Inman of Normandy Park, Melanie (Jeff) Jacob, Maddie Brown of Covington & Son Steve Jr. (Ronda) Kevin, Thomas, Rachal (Hanna & Katey), Shelly & Brandy Larson of Yelm. Step Daughters, Chae (Ron) Chris, Devin, Makala, Ramsey Doggett of Tacoma, Michelle (Robert) Brendon, Garrick, Evie Dotson of Gig Harbor, and many Nieces & Nephews, also a very special friend Diana Leudenburg. A graveside service will be held on March 7 @ 12:30pm Tahoma National Cemetery 18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042. A memorial service will be held on March 15 @ 11:00am Immanuel Celebration Church (potluck) 9244 Pacific Ave. Tacoma, WA 98444
