Steve, you will be greatly missed by the Wendel families and everyone else who were fortunate to have met you.
So glad we had been having our monthly get togethers to share a laugh and enjoy a dinner out. We got to see each other every month! God chose a perfect man who showed love to everyone on earth. Until we meet again. You were one of the best! ❤

Steve was above all a loving spouse and family man. A smart and dedicated businessman. A wonderful friend to thousands. But also to me, an outstanding gentleman. When he first met my wife Donna 50 years ago, he immediately sensed that she was blind. Every single time after that, he approached her before me and said, “Hi Donna, it’s Steve Lefeld. It’s good to see you again.” This world was a better place with Steve here, but at least we still have the great memories he gave to us all.

Dear Diane and all your loving family, words cannot express our shock and grief and wish we could personally come with our condolences. (due to recent surgery, cannot come, but will be with you all in spirit,) Steve was such an outstanding person that everyone loved and respected and surely will continue to look down from Heaven on you all!
