Not sure what to say?

My brother, what can I say? I’m not ready to not be able to visit with you and Veronica. I want more time on the farm. Someone mentioned you being a bit wild on your motorcycle and that is a memory I have of you in Fort Myers. I was young and you took me for a motorcycle ride. You would pull up in front of the house for me to get off and then takeoff before I could get off. So like you. Rather mischievous! I am so very comforted in knowing that you and Veronica were so happy together, she...

I never saw Steve when he wasn’t in a good mood. Much of that due to Veronica. He was a voracious reader and a terror on a motorcycle. He loved life and lived it well. There was no better friend. You will be missed!

Steve was one of those guys that you looked forward to seeing. Such a unique sense of humor and so much fun to be around. Very brilliant man that was always willing to share his knowledge and always eager to help you in any way he could. I have missed him the last few years and wish we could go back in time. I know how much he loved Veronica and know how difficult this must be on her. Veronica , I pray God will bring you and the family Peace, Love and Understanding. Although I can't be at...

Although there were many years we lived far away from each other, the recent 15+ years that our families have reconnected in Aransas Pass, Port Lavaca, and Susan & David's farm in Alabama, have been some of the best, and made up for the lost years. Steve had the quirkiest sense of humor of anyone I know, and even tho most of the time I had trouble following that mind of his, he made me laugh anyway! He was gentle and kind and generous, and he was a good, good brother. He is gone way too...

Steve was a pleasure to work with in engineering. Always had a way to break the stress or make me laugh and make me think. Great conversationalist and fellow pilot and story teller. He will be missed by many. God rest his soul . . . Pat Petrisky

I always thought Steve was a really cool guy. Loved our trips to Uvalde where we usually had some very good solutions to the problems of the world. I will sure miss you.
Rest in peace.

He was my very good buddy and I shall miss him. After all, we grew up together and had some great adventures. I've never met a more sincere person!
