Not sure what to say?

Steve always remember the Marine corp. contingent award you medals at bedside in St Albans Naval Hospital. You were still groggy from anesthesia. The Captain told you at end of ceremony you needed a haircut. You told them what they could do with the medals. Classic Steve sorry we lost touch.

Steve you did life your way...Florida to Alaska...surprised by that move but after thinking about...Can just see you jumping out of your car...on the side of the road and going after some salmon...and as strict the laws are in Alaska pertaining to fishing...Your gonna catch em...Steve rest peace....361....

RIP Steve you were one of the good ones.

Steve....you have always been on my mind. I wish I could've found you before now. I am heartbroken that I didn't find you time. You were a huge part of my childhood.....I cannot tell you how many times I wished you were my father.....although you treated me like your own and I looked to you as my dad. You made me feel special. Thank you for teaching me how to fish, how to clam by doing the twist, thank you for taking care of me when I was sick, and thank you for making me feel like I...

You were an inspiration to all of us and a great teacher and father figure. May you rest in peace and watch over us. My heart goes out to your family.
