Not sure what to say?

Patty and Justin, we are so sorry for your loss. Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers. Sending hugs!

We both enjoyed Steve, as a friend, and with his skills. When we were remodeling our house in Vinton, he was “ Johnny on the spot, with his work. Often having to come up with his special trick, for a unique situation. Our love to Patty and Justin, as they grieve. He was quite a guy. We are thankful the family have enjoyed Hadley’ s family home. Rick

The Driscols family would like to offer our condolences to all the Hendrix family on Steve's passing. This is Dan Driscol and we grew up together in the same neighbor fairly close.

May the love of your friends and family provide you with comfort and support during this difficult time.

I will never forget seeing Steve working on the outside lights at the La Porte City High School, and laughing saying "could you ever have guessed that this school would ever want me back!!!" That's when we both said the ones that are first will someday be last and the last will be first. He was self-made through hard work and perseverance. His witty humor will be one that will be talked about forever. We will miss him and his (fun) cantankerous opinions. God Bless His Memory

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always. Deepest Sympathy, Patty and Justin. Roxy Schwartz

Steve was a great guy and will be missed by his family and friends.

RIP Steve. Mary Linsley-Clark
