Funeral service for Steven LeTroy McCurley of Athens, Alabama will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the Homer L. Moses Memorial Chapel of Peoples Funeral Home with Pastor Cordell Hunter officiating. The body will lie in state from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time. Interment and committal will be at Hatchett cemetery.
On Friday, August 22, 2025, public viewing will be from 12:00 noon until 5:00 p.m. and visitation from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Peoples Funeral Home.
