Not sure what to say?

Please know that I will be praying for the entire Rivera family. God bless you all and your service to the country, to your family, your local community as well as all those that you have came into contact with throughout your life.

Until Valhalla. =O<ü

Sergeant Rivera set the tone for the way I would represent myself as a United States Marine. You felt his presence as soon as he walked into the room. It was an honor serving under his charge. I will continue to laugh about the tough love he showed the Adj squad as he molded us young PFCs and LCPLs. His legacy will remain. In loving memory of a wonderful person. We will love you and miss you always. God bless and heal the hearts of his loving wife and daughter and every life he touched and...

We are so very sorry for your loss. New Hanover A shift will surely miss him! Please know that we are here if you need anything. Steven was a trip. He was fun to work with and had such a unique personality. We always had comical discussions about various music tastes when we would work together. HE also frequently expressed his love of Chinese food. Know that while he is gone he will not be forgotten. May you find peace in the coming days. Please know that our prayers are with you. May...

Rest in Peace fellow Veteran. Thank you for your service. Thank you for your continued service to the Communities we live in with your expertise, caring and knowledge in the Medical field. I did not know you personally, but I know I have seen you in visits to New Hanover. Fly high and all the lives you have touched will never forget. My sympathies to Steven's wife and daughter. You are in my prayers and that you find peace knowing that Steven is watching over you and you have all those...

Rivera was such an inspiration to everyone he came in contact with. He was an amazing leader, friend and mentor. He will be missed!

We got it from here brother. Rest in peace

I did not know Steven, but do know he was a beloved member of Pender EMS! My son, Lee Richardson, was also a Paramedic with that wonderful group! I am so sorry for your loss. You will slowly become whole again, but will never be the same without him!

Britany, Isabel and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends always. Steven will never be forgotten!
