Steve was a dedicated employee who gave us ten years of loyal service. He took his responsibilities seriously. His commitment did not go unnoticed, and he will be remembered not only for his strong work ethic, but for the steady presence he brought every day. He will be truly missed.

Steven E. Seitz, age 68 of Nappanee, died at 6:20 pm, Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Goshen Hospital after a short illness. He was born October 28, 1957 in Goshen to Nobel and Susie (Kauffman) Seitz. Steve lived his lifetime in this area. He was a graduate of NorthWood High School. On July 27, 1985, he married Paige Pierce in Nappanee. She preceded him in death. Steve retired from Kountry Wood Products and was currently driving as an amish taxi. He was a member of Brethren in Christ Church in Nappanee and served as a greeter.
Surviving is his daughter, Jessica Seitz and sister-in-law, Rita Seitz, Bremen. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, daughters, Jamie and Ashley Seitz, and brother, Larry Seitz.
Cremation will take place. Family and friends may call from 9-11 am, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Brethren in Christ Church. Memorial Service will begin at 11:00 am. Pastor Jeff Williams will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be given to help with funeral expenses.
