Not sure what to say?

I first met Steve and Lynn at the SAGNY tradeshow in NY years ago and immediately formed a friendship. Will always remember him and his beautiful smile. My sincere sympathy Lynn to and family for this hard loss.

The Weinsteins were the truly the best of neighbors and friends! We loved catching up with Steve in the yard, his stories were hands-down THE BEST! We will miss your zest for life and watching you throw endless frisbees to your beloved Romeo & Libby.

I am so sorry to hear of Steve's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with Nancy and Karen and the rest of the family. May his memory always be a blessing and bring a smile to your faces.
Fondly,
Lori Popp Moss

The Dude great guy Blair

Steve was a wonderful friend and will be greatly missed....

I met STeve traveling on discovery marketing shows which created a bond that lasted 20+ years. During that time, we had some fun skiing and a lot of fun talking. I'm so glad I was able to talk with him several weeks ago. His courage in addressing your final days was inspiring. HIs caring for people had only grown stronger as he grew weaker. He was a great man and I'm proud that I was able to call my friend. I'm going to miss him but him impact on me will live on until I die. Rest in Peace my...

Such a personality & such a smile. I have never met someone like Steve & doubt i ever will. He made an impact on my life...as well as Lynne. Such a fighter..such a fun guy...we could learn much from Steve & I did. Many will miss you.....I...as one!! ...and Lynn I am always a phone call away!

Steve's face had always been a source of familiarity for me. We often found ourselves working in same cities and attending the same events. Through this we shared many meals and discussed many topics over the years. Our conversations were always warm and forever friendly. I will truly miss him. My sincerest condolences to the Weinstein family. My prayers are with you.

Steven's Obituaries

Steven L. Weinstein 61 years of age, lifelong resident of Indianapolis, 1973 graduate of North Central High School, passed away on May 29, 2017.  His spirit was released at home with his wife and daughters by his side and he is now exploring the universe.

Steve lived his life with passion and gusto along with his life philosophy: “Live as if there’s no tomorrow, plan as if you’ll live forever.”  He was a gifted, wildly inappropriate joke-teller and was driven to express his strong and passionate beliefs in conservative politics.

Steve was the founder and President of Recognition Services Inc.  He considered work an opportunity, not an obligation, and his employees as his family.

Survived by his beloved wife Lynn and treasured border collies, Romeo and Libby, Steve leaves behind a legacy of leadership and philanthropic contributions.

He is also survived by his mother, Shelle; stepdaughters, Lisa Moskal, Beverly Hale and Amanda Ball; granddaughter, Sara Hale; sisters, Nancy Smith and Karen Whitt and brothers, Sidney, Justin and Joshua Weinstein, two nieces and extended family.  Steve was preceded in death by his father Mike.

Steve celebrated life…and in accordance with his wishes, A Celebration of Life event will be held at the Palomino Ballroom in Zionsville on Friday, June 16 from 7 – 10 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Kidney Foundation.  Friends may leave a message for the family, or a memory of Steve by visiting www.arnmortuary.com.
