In Loving Memory of
Stuart “Stuball” Edward Curl
Stuart Edward Curl, affectionately known as “Stuball,” passed away on September 21, 2025, at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs, California. He was 50 years old.
Born on June 7, 1975, in Blythe, California, Stuart was the beloved son of the late Nita Faye Curl and Charles Edward Curl Jr. Though his parents passed before him, their love and guidance shaped him to become a kind and caring man.
Stuart is survived by his sister, Tia Lisa Curl, who will forever cherish the special bond they shared; his daughter, Paigee Salcido; his former wife and dear friend, Alexis Bonnet, with whom he shared many cherished years and a lasting friendship; and a loving extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Stuart’s happiest moments were spent outdoors. He loved camping in the White Mountains, relaxing by the river, and exploring the desert he called home. He had a deep appreciation for being in those places and found peace under the open sky. A lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan, Stuart’s eyes would light up with excitement for every game and rooted for his team no matter the season. He also treasured time with friends, especially Friday nights gathered around the poker table, enjoying a beer, a laugh, and the camaraderie that meant so much to him.
Those who knew Stuart will remember his adventurous spirit, his big heart, and his easygoing way of making everyone feel welcome. He lived life simply but fully, finding joy in family, friends, and the places he loved most. Though his passing leaves an emptiness in the hearts of those who loved him, his memory will continue to inspire stories, laughter, and love for years to come. May he always be remembered at the table with the guys, sharing a hand, a laugh, and a heart full of life.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, October 18th at 11am at Frye Chapel and Mortuary. Family and friends are invited to gather in celebration of Stuart’s life, to share memories, and to honor the legacy of a brother, father, family member, and friend who will be deeply missed.
