Sue's Obituary

Sue Ann Stutzman, age 72 of Milford, IN, passed away Friday morning, January 16, 2026 at her residence after a short illness. Sue was born on August 24, 1953 in Wauseon, OH to Marvin and Nelda (Riegsecker) Glanz.  She was a 1971 West Noble High School graduate.  On December 14, 1996 Sue married Philip Stutzman in Elkhart, IN.  Together they lived in Goshen for 10 years and moved to their home in Milford in 2006.  Sue worked at StarCraft for over 25 years and then worked at Goshen Hospital before retiring.  Together, Philip and Sue had attended Brenneman Missionary Church for many years.  More recently they had attended Nappanee Missionary Church.  Throughout her life, Sue enjoyed sewing.  When she was young, she often made her own clothing.  She was a skilled seamstress.  She also loved her animals. She loved raising German Shepherds and always had pet cats. Sue also loved to travel; she especially enjoyed the many trips she took to Florida with Philip.  Sue is survived by her husband of over 29 years, Philip Stutzman of Milford, IN; a brother, Mike Glanz of TX; a sister, Janet (Tom) McBroom of Sun Lakes, AZ; and 1 nephew and 2 nieces.  Sue was preceded in death by her parents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 21, 2026 from 11 am – 2pm at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Nappanee with a funeral starting at 2pm.  Pastor Tom Nelson will officiate and burial will follow in Salem Mennonite Church Cemetery, Nappanee, IN.
