Not sure what to say?

The family has my deepest sympathy.

It is with heartfelt sympathy that I extend condolences to the family of Sylvia Jo Tyus. When I began my ministry in music, she sang in my very first choir at First Progressive Baptist Church, and those early days remain some of my most cherished memories. Sylvia’s loving smile and contagious laugh could light up any room, and her spirit brought warmth, joy, and encouragement to all who knew her. I will forever treasure the moments we shared in ministry and fellowship. May God grant comfort...

We were so sorry to hear about Sylvia. She helped us with our children when they were young. Was always loving and dependable for our children and us, and a good mother to her own. Both our children, now in there 40s, would ask us over the years how Sylvia was doing. We’ll all miss her, but will hold on to our memories of her. Tommy, Susanne, Christopher, and Tommie Sue Weakley.

My condolences to her family. I knew her back in the Westgate days. One thing I remember is that she cared about her children and all the children in Westgate. She looked out for all of us. If you did something g wrong you better know she was going to tell your mama.

My deepest condolences and prayers for the family

Rest in paradise Sylvia Jo, you are truly going to be missed

Going miss you
