T.D's Obituary

T.D Gibson Jr. born May 8,1945 to T.D Gibson Sr. and Inez Young, he was baptized at a early age and was a member of Disciples of Christ Church. He attended Dallas Public School and was a member of "The Great" James Madison High School  graduating class of 1963.He attended The University of North Texas  in Denton, Texas  and The University of Arlington.T.D military service includes The Us Army in South Korea during the Vietnam war and The US Army Reserve as Sergeant First Class.  After serving his military tour of duty he worked for 20 plus years for The City of Dallas, Dallas Fire Rescue. He was President of The Black Firefighters association, International association of Black Professional Firefighters, The James Madison High School Alumni association.T.D was a faithful member of Bethlehem B.C Terrell, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Richard Rollerson. Left to cherish his memories are his Mother Inez Young Gibson,Wife Ethel Gibson of 34 years,2 sons, 2 daughters ,3 grandchildren ,2 sisters ,1 brother and a host of family and friends.
