Taylor's Obituaries

Taylor passed away Monday, April 8, 2019 at the age of 29 years. Taylor was born in Bay City on August 24, 1989. He graduated in 2007 from Clarkston High School and loved music and was a huge U of M sports fan.

Taylor is survived by his parents, Michael and Michelle Goik; brother, Gavin Goik; sister, Sophie Goik; grandparents, Richard and Marilyn Goik and Lynn and Velma Barber; uncles and aunts, Jennifer (Jon) Charters, Randy (fiancé Tiffany Bragg) Barber, Richard Goik Jr. and Patrick (Jen Barret) Goik; many cousins and girlfriend, TyShawnda Brown. Taylor was preceded in death by his biological father, Andrew Simmons and grandparents Earl and Geneine Simmons.

Funeral and committal service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 13, 2019 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with private burial in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
