Ted Reynolds

Ted Reynolds, age 68, of Atwood, Oklahoma, passed away Sunday, October 19th, 2025 at Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri on January 24, 1957, son of Bruce Reynolds and Anna (Eaton) Sutton. Ted joined the Unites States Army and retired as a Sergeant First Class June 30, 1994 after 20 years of service. After his retirement he worked as a Security Officer. He was a long time member of the American Legion.

He was married to Joyce Sherrin March 15, 1994 in Marianna, Florida and had lived in Atwood, Oklahoma for many years.

Ted is preceded in death by his father, his mother and his brother, Billy John Sutton.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Reynolds of the home; one son, Josh Reynolds and his wife Val, of Delton, MI; two step daughters, Shonna Clark and Sherrin Myrick and her husband  Darryl, two step sons Spencer Dodge and Steven Daniel Dodge and his wife Julie; two sisters, Cindy Winingar and her husband Joe, of Piedmont and Kimberly Bennett, of Farmington, MO. 

He is also survived by 1 grandchild, 8 step grandchildren, 3 step great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Visitation was held at 1:00 PM Saturday at Morrison Funeral Chapel in Piedmont. Funeral Services followed at 2:00 PM Saturday at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Tommy Brown officiating. Special recorded songs were played for the service and Joe Winingar, Mike Sullivan, Danny Kearbey, Gary Sullivan, James Berry, Beau Morris and Cai Washington served as Pall Bearers. 

Military Honors were given at graveside by the United States Army and the Piedmont American Legion Post # 281 Honor Team. Interment was in the Eaton Cemetery near Piedmont.
