Teresa Hale

Teresa Hale age 63 of Castalian Springs died Thursday morning, Feb. 19, 2026 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.  Born March 16, 1962 in Lebanon, she was the daughter of the late Charlie and Rosie Barnes Coffee and was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Johnson and brother, Michael Coffee.

Teresa is survived by her long time companion, Jerry "Smiley" Phillips of Castalian Springs; son, Josh (Harley) Hale of Castalian Springs; daughter, Chrissy (Kerwin) Varney of Lebanon and grandchildren, Aubree, Raegan and Scarlett Hale, Samuel and Isabella Varney.  She is also survived by her brother, Bubba, Doyle and Odie Coffee and sisters, Ann Cauley and Stella Coffee.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026 at Hunter Funeral Home with Bro. B.J. Thomason officiating. Visitation will be held from 2-8 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. till service time on Sunday.
