Teresa's Obituary

 

Teresa M. Twine McNease, 68, departed this life in the early morning of December 7, 2024, in Elliston, Virginia.  She was born on February 10, 1956, to the late Howard and Magdalene Twine. She was educated in Montgomery County schools and was a member of First Baptist Church of Elliston from an early age.

Teresa was a certified cosmetologist, and she enjoyed riding motorcycles, and was a member of the Liberty Riders Motorcycle Club. And most people don’t know that she loved to fish and loved to drive (she was a driver)!!

After meeting her late husband, Earl McNease, they were joined in marriage at First Baptist Salem, by the late Rev. James Braxton, and became members of First Baptist Church, Salem.  Teresa later attended St. Stevenson Church in Maryland, while she lived in the area.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl McNease; her parents, Howard and Magdalene Twine; Grandparents, Edward and Corrine Twine; Aunts Mildred Jackson, Dorothy Bradford, Clara Twine; Uncles Lawrence Twine, Charles (Roy) Twine.

She leaves to cherish her memory, daughters Angela Twine, Richmond, VA; Leslie Habershon, of the home; like a son, Joe McNease, Fredericksburg, VA; Long time companion, Lucious Miller, of the home; Grandchildren, Imani McGhee Twine, Xavier Habershon, Isiah Twine, Xavia Habershon, Xavion Habershon; three great-grandchildren, Jelani, Ishae, Namine’; Brother, Dennis Twine (Alma), Salem, VA; nephew, Stacy (Anja) Muse, Germany; nieces, Michelle Leavelle; Greensboro, NC; Sydney; nephews,  Denzel, Shawn, Mason; cousins and other family and friends.

A funeral service will be Monday, December 16, 2024, 11am at First Baptist Church Salem, 226 S. Broad St., Salem, VA 24153. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Service.
