Teresa Mirakovits, 93, of Northampton, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2021 in ManorCare, Bethlehem. Born on October 14, 1927 in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Alois and Hedwig (Recker) Mirakovits. Teresa was employed as a sewing machine operator for Universal Pants Factory for many years. She was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church in Northampton.
Survivors: Teresa is survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A brother, Alfred, and sisters, Frieda Salgado, Emma Zehl, Mary Serensits, and Hedwig “Hattie” Mirakovits, preceded Teresa in death.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 1st at 10:30 a.m. in the church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton. Family and friends may call on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. in the Reichel Funeral Home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. Interment will be in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton. Those in attendance will kindly be requested to practice social distancing and wear a face cover.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the church in loving memory of Teresa. Online condolences may be offered above.
