Obituary
Terry A.'s Obituary
St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am, on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Terry A. Bernard, Sr., 67, who passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 9:00 pm on Monday, and continue on Tuesday at 7:00 am until 11:00 am.
A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm on Monday.
Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate at the Mass of Christian Burial.
Interment will follow at St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville.
Terry honorably served in the United States Army for two years. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Terry was the owner of Cajun Corrosion Control and he took great pride in the work he did. He had a huge passion for music, dancing, gardening and his Harley Davidson motorcycle, that was his "baby". Terry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving spouse of 42 years, Jane Hebert Bernard; daughter, Tori Champagne and husband Chris; son, Terry "TJ" Bernard, Jr. and wife Jamie; grandchildren, Hannah and Luke Bernard and Alexandra Champagne; mother, Ludy Bernard; brother, Dennis Bernard and wife Lana; and sisters, Jenny Dugas and husband J.C., Sarah Foti and husband Freddie, Linda Cormier and husband Don and Annette Trahan and husband Timmie.
He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Bernard.
Pallbearers will be Corey Trahan, Zeb Foti, Kevin Dugas, Cody Cormier, Chris Champagne and Terry Bernard, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Zack Foti and Benji Hebert.
