RIP my friend and keep smiling

So very saddened to hear of Terrys passing. Steve and I have so many fond memories of our times with Terry. His infectious laughter will always ring in our ears. RIP Terry.

I will definitely miss our conversations at the Town Talk. You were always interested in what I was doing and what was going on in my life. It didn't matter who was there. You could always strike up a conversation. RIP my friend.

We didn't know Terri long but he was a light in our life. He was our sons renter and always had wonderful things to say about Joel. We will miss seeing his wonderful smile and him always saying HI when we would be at Joel's. You are in our prayers and thoughts, we will miss you our happy friend.

We came to know Terry when I worked in school and Josh spent time in the basement with the janitors. Many fond and wild memories for both of us. So pleased to have had him in our life.

Terry's Obituary

COPENHAGEN- We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Terry R. Brown, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at the age of 73 in Syracuse, NY.

Terry was born on May 1, 1952, in Lowville, NY, to the late Frederick J. and Barb A. (Cota) Brown. He graduated in 1971 from Copenhagen Central School. He worked at the St. Regis Papermill and later retired as a custodian from the Copenhagen School District. 

He is survived by his dear friends, Kevin A. (Teresa) Terrillion, Amanda Kloster, and Dale Clarke all of Copenhagen, and he will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Terry was very sociable and a pillar of the Copenhagen community; he had a way of making everyone feel at home, spreading happiness wherever he went.

Terry was a member of the Copenhagen Fire Department, and the Lowville Elks Club.

Per his wishes, there will be no calling hours. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at 4:00 pm at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Copenhagen, NY, where he will be laid to rest alongside his parents. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
