Terry Lynn Butler passed away on September 24, 2025, in Trinity, Texas. He was born on July 1, 1959, to Eustace and Emmer Lilly (Graham) Butler in Trinity, Texas.
Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Eustace and Emmer Lilly Butler, as well as his brothers-in-law, Robert Elliott and Bo Kendrick.
He is survived by his siblings: Edgar Butler, Patricia Butler Elliott, and Cindy Kendrick. He is also survived by his nieces and nephew: Stephanie Sims and her husband Jamie, Robert Keith Elliott and his wife Ramona, Angela Thomas and her husband Jeremy, and Zeth Kendrick and his wife NaTasha. Numerous extended family members and friends also mourn his passing.
Terry had a deep passion for playing classic rock on his guitar, and he loved gardening. Known as a jack of all trades, he enjoyed spending time with his family above all else.
He was known for his huge heart and generosity, always willing to give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.
Terry will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind to cherish his memory and protect his legacy.
