Terry you are missed so much. Stan, Shelley, Sadie, Shanice & Lannie I'm so very sorry for your loss. This is heartbreaking & I'm at a loss for words. My thoughts & prayers are with you all to have peace & strength during this difficult time.

Even though I only got to know you for a short period of time when you were a kid, it was a pleasure!! Such a great kid. I can see that you grew up to be an honorable man and Dad. Rest in peace Terry. My condolences to your family and friends. Prayers!!

I have so many great memories and stories from when we were kids. You were so funny . You will be missed more than you know! I pray you have found peace. May we meet again someday.

Obituary

Terry's Obituary

Terry Dean Koschnick, 44 of Buckley passed away at 10:27 p.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

Due to COVID-19 a private family memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 206 E Main St, Buckley with Rev. J. Kevin Wyckoff officiating. Burial will follow in St John’s Cemetery, Buckley. Baier Family Funeral Services, Buckley is assisting the family with arrangements.

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Masks and social distancing are required.

Terry was born October 30, 1976 the son of Stan and Shelley Deck Koschnick.

He is survived by his parents, Stan and Shelley Koschnick of Buckley; three daughters, Sadie (Parker Hiser) Koschnick of Jasper, IN, Lannie Koschnick of Buckley, Shanice Renwick of Puyallup, WA; two grandsons, Oliver and Amsterdam Farthing; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded by a brother, Troy Koschnick.

Terry was a graduate of PBL and served in the Unites States Army from 1995-2001 achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was stationed in Germany, Bosnia and Kuwait and received many medals and awards. He was a member of the Buckley American Legion Byron A. Hickerson Post 432. Terry worked at Plastipak, Champaign.

Terry enjoyed fishing, camping and spending time with his family.

Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran School, Christ Lutheran High School or an organization of the donor’s choice. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.baierfuneralservices.com.
