Joseph F. Barney

Joseph F. Barney, 96, passed away peacefully at his home on May 15, 2015. He was predeceased by his wife, Margaret, several months earlier, after more than 70 years of marriage. A full recollection of Joe's life was printed on May 24, 2015, in this newspaper.A memorial service is being held on Saturday, June 20, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Memorial Presbyterian Church, 35 Sevilla St., St. Augustine. Joe's family would be pleased for all who knew both Joe and Margaret to attend. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either Memorial Presbyterian Church or Community Hospice Foundation.
