Mr. Spears was an amazing man, and we are truly sorry to hear of his passing. Donyelle and Donecia were blessed to have Mr. Spears as their bus driver in the early 2000's. They have fond memories of Mr. Spears on the last day of school. He would get his great big ice chest and fill it up with sodas for the students to enjoy and celebrate the start of summer vacation. Megan and Morgan Potts loved Mr Spears for all the years he was their bus driver. The first time Megan got on the bus, Mr Spears assured me that she was in good hands, and he would never let anything happen to her! He held up his promise! He was such a great bus driver! He reminded me of mine when I was school aged too. May his family and friends truly know that he was loved by so many kids and their parents on his #33 bus route!! The Potts Family

Heartfelt condolences from the Barry family. Mr. Spears safely shuttled us all - Amanda, Alexis, and William - to and from school in Prairieville for many, many years in the 90s and early 2000s. He was and is a still beloved figure in our households. He is the central character in many funny stories from our childhood. He will be dearly missed.
