Not sure what to say?

We send our condolences to the extended Ballard family for your loss, as well as our loss. Tom was a friendly, compassionate, thoughtful and humorous man. Our grandchildren knew him and had fun with him - when our granddaughter say Tom she said, "I know that man and I like him". We are so fortunate to have had his friendship. We hope his memories are a blessing.

Tom was a bright spot in our neighborhood. He will be missed but we are sure that he is now sitting at the right hand if God making all the angels laugh at his jokes.

We deeply regret that due to health issues, we are unable to attend services for this amazing man. He was a joy to be around, and he was passionate about his beliefs and convictions. He will be sorely missed by all who loved and adored him. May the peace of God be with you during this difficult time and in the days ahead.

Tom was a bright light with a smile for everyone. We are heartbroken that he was taken from his family and friends much too soon. We send our love and sympathy to Sandra and children.

Cheryl and I send our deepest condolences to Sandra, Tara, Gary, Sam, Bish, Diane and the extended Ballard family. We are sorry for your loss; you are in our thoughts and prayers.
I first met Lowery in 1953 just after the Ballards moved into the big three story house at the end of our block on Hamlet Avenue. Lowery and I were the same age while most of the boys in our neighborhood were older, so Lowery and I hit it off and became best friends. We camped out in each other's back yards,...

Sandra, Tara, and Gary. My heart goes out to you. Lowery was a joy to work with and Sandra I hope you know how much I loved working with you. I really don't have the words except you will be in my prayers.

Sandra - May the hole in your hear be filled with memories of the wonderful man Tom was.

It was very sad to hear of Lowery's passing. He was a very good friend growing up and a super classmate at Hamlet Schools. He and Sandra were a match made in heaven, and their 60 years together is a testament to that. I was privileged to be their friend and classmate and extend my deepest sympathy to Sandra and her family. May the fond memories of Lowery comfort us at this very sad time!

We’ll miss you cousin, rest in peace, see win heaven one day. Chuck Honeman
