COLONIAL FUNERAL HOME, 2170 HIGHWAY 88, BRICK, NJ Thomas Edward Buckley Sr., age 77 of Point Pleasant, NJ, died on Wednesday, 9/26/18 peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born and raised in Trenton, NJ and lived in Bordentown before moving to Point Pleasant. He was employed as a Truck Driver for many years with Hub City Beer Distributors in Lawrenceville, NJ. He also worked at the family business, Buckley's Tavern, until 1977. He was a long-time volunteer with Mission Fire Department in Bordentown where he was an Officer of their Fire Police. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and camper who loved traveling and making Native American art and jewelry. He was very proud of his Le’ni Lena’pe Indian heritage. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Marie Flotteron Buckley in 2013, and his brother, John F. “Bud” Buckley. He is survived by his devoted children, Thomas Edward Buckley Jr. of Levittown, PA and Bucky Samantha Blaze and her spouse, Cee J. Hazen of Hudson, FL; his sisters, Joanne Emery and Bonnie Hess, and his brother Lawrence Britton; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and two step daughters. A Funeral Service will be held at Colonial Funeral Home at 2170 Highway 88, Brick, NJ on Saturday, September 29, at 6:30 PM. There will be a gathering of friends and family from 3-6:30 prior to the service. Interment is private.
