Thomas “Tinker” Crawford, 69, of Cowansville, passed away on Monday February 9, 2026 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.He was born on January 7, 1957 in Kittanning, he was the son of Robert E. and Elma Jean (Henry) Crawford. Tinker worked at Synder Sand and Gravel, the Brickyard and also drove school bus for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, playing horseshoes, chitchatting, spending time with his family, friends and especially his grandson Degan, and his dog, Potter. Tinker is survived by two sons; David Crawford and his wife Megan of North Hills, Josh Crawford of Cowansville, one grandson, Degan Crawford, one sister, Brenda Nickel of Sherrett, two brothers; James Crawford and his wife Peggy of Saxonburg, and Robert “Squirrel” Crawford Jr., of Sherrett. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and a close friend, Ken Bowser. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one sister, Cheryl Goodman, two brothers; Donald “Tub” and Cortland Crawford and a great nephew, Colby Nickel. As per Tinkers request all services are private.The family suggest memorial donations be made to the Sugarcreek Township Ambulance Service, 2030 PA-268 East Brady PA 16028 or planting of a memorial tree in memory of Tinker.
