Tom and I are cousins that grew up together in the same house as little boys at 505 Nichols St., Utica, N.Y. We were the same age and went to kindergarten together at Mary Street School. As teenagers we reunited again and had many of the same friends on my block of Elizabeth St - playing sports together in the street - having fun. Tom was a very good athlete, well-liked and a leader the our friends all looked up to.

I was so gutted to learn of Tom's passing. I was fortunate to have The Ferrese Family as our next door neighbours for many years, and they were such lovely people. Tom's friendly smile and genuine kindness will be sorely missed by all who knew him, near and far. Please accept my heartfelt condolences, to Donna, her children, and their families.

Tom, you have always been loyal, patriotic, dedicated, friendly and kind. I was lucky enough to have met you almost 56 years ago at work when you introduced yourself.
