Not sure what to say?

I met Tom when we were teens, as he was a friend to my brother, Jason. Over the years I'd see Tom at band shows, parties, and my family events. Tom was always kind and friendly toward me. We shared many laughs, and I knew I could always count in him whenever I needed his help. He was like family to me. My heart is with Mandy, his family, friends, and beloved kitties.

Mark, Jay, Neil, Tom (in the very early days of Zero Population Growth)

Tom, you were truly one of a kind and it was a pleasure to be in my first band with you! You were the best musician of all of us and I’m happy to have reconnected with you at NIU just a few years ago! The world lost an artist and I lost a friend.

He was one of Marcia Goodrich's favorite canoe campers when he was a young man in the Methodist Church. Marcia is my wife and she pre-deceased Tom.

So saddened to learn of his unexpected passing. Tom was a vibrant, fun, and kind guy. He had a special kind of vibe and while I hadn't seen him in ages, he was someone I thought about often. So sorry to his family and loved ones for this tragic loss.

My heart goes out to you and your family on this difficult loss of a beloved son, brother, uncle. May his memory be a blessing.

Tom had a caring, kind, beautiful heart, mind, and soul. I appreciated his views on diversity, humanity, and the world. My thoughts, heart, and prayers are with Mandy and their cats, his family, friends, coworkers, and all who knew him.

May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

Tom was one of my best DeKalb Youth Baseball umpires, I could always count on him to show up, and do a great job for me. You will be missed.
