Godspeed my friend!

My condolences and prayers to the Family. Thomas was a great supporter of the Chamber and He was always very friendly. We will miss him!- Sharon Martin-Chamber Ambassador.

Tommy, you will be missed. Prayers for this family and many friends.

...where do I begin?

Tommy was a great friend, going back to our early childhood, growing up in Warrenton, NC. We were roommates at Atlantic Christian College and, upon graduation, roommates in Raleigh. Looking back, I fondly remember our many adventures...and misadventures. Like the time, in college, we tried to drive to New Orleans for the weekend with less than $150 and a bag of bologna sandwiches. On the way, we picked up a hitchhiker trying to get to Atlanta...charging him...

Thomas was a very kind, loving, tender hearted man with a good sense of humor. Thomas loved his family and his dog Coco. We always enjoyed his visits. Tommy will be missed by myself and my husband who is Tommys brother Bill Hawkins.. Thomas and Bill loved football and were NC State fans, they always communicated during games.
