Thomas's Obituary
Thomas Franklin Hendrix, Sr., of Roanoke, formerly of North Carolina passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 14, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin Thomas and Beatrice Porter Hendrix. Tom is survived by his son, Thomas F. Hendrix, Jr. and his wife Jody; his adored granddaughters, Nicole and Leann Hendrix; sister, Linda Sotriffer and her husband Peter; brother, John Hendrix and his wife Susan, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
No prior visitation. A Memorial Service celebrating Tom’s life will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at 6 PM at Parkway Wesleyan Church, 3645 Orange Avenue, Roanoke, VA. A private family interment in Riverside Cemetery, Asheville, NC will be held at a later date. On-line condolences may be sent to www.oakeys.com
