Thomas Rickey LeDee, was called home to eternal rest by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Sunday, January 14, 2024 at the age of 67. Mr. LeDee was affectionately known as Rick, Daddy, Papa, Parrain, and Uncle Rickey. He was born on April 12, 1956 in Lake Charles, LA, to the late Raphael N. LeDee and Rita Olivier LeDee. On February 1, 1975, he was united in holy matrimony to his beloved wife, Mary Katie LeDee, of 48 years. From their beautiful union, two daughters were born: Jessica Renee LeDee and the late Celeste LaRay LeDee. He was the brother of the late Richard LeDee; father-in-law of Timothy Jerome Gilyard; grandfather of Donovan LeDee (Destini) and Nova Gilyard; great grandfather of Damir LeDee; godfather of Shelley Awkward (niece) and Jayla Scott; uncle of Shawntel Richard (Timothy) and the late Shane LeDee; great uncle of Mileeya Walker, Nathaniel LeDee (Amber), Matthais Washington, Christian Awkward, Sebastian Richard and Talia Richard; son-in-law of the late John and Dorothy Bernard; brother-in-law of Sandra Latrigue (Tiki), Gwendolyn Champagne (Claude), Charlotte Bernard, Connie Mouton (Timothy), Deadria Bernard, Brenda LeDee, Rebecca LeDee, Thierery Bernard (Tracy), Frederick Bernard (Charletta) and Jason Bernard (Cassandra). He is also survived by a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at the B.A. Williams Memorial Chapel located at Williams Funeral Home, 2945 Old Tobacco Road, Hephzibah, GA 30815.
The family will receive family and friends at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m., and the funeral service will start at 11:00 a.m. Interment is at the Hillcrest Cemetery, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta, GA 30906.
