Not sure what to say?

Tom Manzo was a Beautiful soul to all the kids & neighbors especially on Terhune Ave. He always had a very special twinkle in his eyes. Mr. Manzo was also a true hero! He saved my sister Sally from falling through the icy pond in Lincoln Park! Thank you so much Tom Manzo, you will be in our hearts forever! Love, Pat & Sally Kearns

My favorite memories of Uncle Tom are his jokes and time spent at his lake house sailing on his boat. But the most wonderful thing about Uncle Tom was the way he made me feel when I was with him. In his presence, he carried a happiness and a love for family. Hope you rest in peace Uncle Tom. We loved you and will miss you!

How do you come up with words to describe a guy who always had the best ones? I learned a lot from my great Uncle Tom. How to not be a "knucklehead". The humility of why everyone is a "tail light" under God, even if you reach a "head light" position in life. He had a way of making shop-talk so profound and wise. A man who danced often and laughed like no other. Even strangers called him "Uncle Tom". Missed is an understatement. His love is timeless and the memories will always be cherished.

Tommy was someone who meant so much to my family. I will always remember his kindness, humor and strength. That is how I will carry him with me. He will never be forgotten .

I met Tom about 12 years while
walking my little dog, Joe, who always brought a smile to his face. As i drove past his house almost every day, i thought I should stop and visit. One day, I brought him some cannolis from the bakery. He said they were his favorite. I'm so sorry that I didn't get to see him before this. He will be missed. My sincere condolences to his family and friends.

I only got to know Tom for the last 14 years.
When I met Tom, he was still vibrant, friendly and fully engaged. He sure was a fun man to hang out with.
When his house was flooded by Super Storm Sandy, he just kept going and made sure that his waterfront home was repaired and still usable. In the more recent years, with the help of his family and later from Romona, he managed to stay in his home until the end. Even as he slowly left us, he was just where he wanted to be. Into his...

Will love you forever, Dad.

Tom was a wonderful neighbor and friend to our family for many years! We will miss him and are happy to know he and Roger can continue their friendship in Heaven! RIP, Tom!

Uncle Tom! He was much more than an Uncle to me and I am sure everyone would agree. He was like a second father. He was so important in my life growing up and a true friend and counselor as I got older. So many crabbing stories, Shore Acres, Terhune Ave. , Curries Wood. Not to mention A/C stories from St. Lawrence Blvd. He will leave a large hole in everyone life only because he was a large part of everyone’s life. He will be missed.
Thank You for all your years of wisdom and quick...
