Not sure what to say?

My brother and I had the fortune of sharing a childhood with Tommy’s birthday pool parties, hide n seek, freeze tag and countless ole times BarBQs. They are among my fondest memories of being with Tommy and having fun as a kid
Such a proud father with his wife Linda had the blessing of the great American family a son, daughter and grandchildren.
Tommy was an ace mechanic and I just enjoyed being around him as he worked keeping our cars and trucks running chewing the fat. His...

Thinking of you all at this incredibly difficult time. The video tribute was absolutely beautiful. Sending my prayers for strength to Linda, Jen, Tommy and all his family and friends.

What a beautiful tribute for an amazing man. I first met Tommy thru Linda, and knew immediately just how special of a man he was. He had that mischievous smile, loved life, always willing to help others weather it was a person or of course his love of animal's. He always made me giggle when he would say to Linda "Now Linda" , when she was up to something, and the love he had for Linda always showed through each time he looked at her. Tommy actually kind of took me under his wing, he...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Thinking of you all during this difficult time. The video montage was a beautiful tribute.
Sending you love and prayers.

Looking at the video with all of the photos brings back memories. You were wonderful to my sister for all these years. An Amazing Father to you son and daughter and loving grandpa to your grandchildren. Great to family and friends. Always an incredible man to all who knew you whether human or animal. Glad that you were my brother in law for all those years. My heart breaks and is very sad that you aren't with us any longer, but comforted to know you're in GOD's hands now. Love, prayers and...

It’s so strange to live in a world where people you have known your entire life are no longer a part of it. Tommy was a constant presence in my childhood and adult years as he was my dad’s very best friend. They were brothers in every way that it mattered. Tommy was incredibly generous, a loving father and husband, and a really, really good friend. He always called to check in and make sure everyone was doing okay. Without ever saying it, I knew he would give us the shirt off his back if we...

My condolences to Linda, Jennifer & Tommy jr. & the rest of the family may Tommy rest in peace

When you’re a kid, your dad is a superhero and a larger-than-life presence. Most kids don’t witness their parents at their lowest point, but we did. What I didn’t realize at the time was that he may have been at his lowest and weakest points during my teenage years, but he was actually one of the strongest people I’ve ever known. Most would never have made it through a liver transplant let alone all the health issues that came with it afterwards. He pushed through so many procedures and...

Thomas's Obituary

Thomas Stanton Nunn Jr. (“Tommy Junior”), born on April 3, 1953, passed away at his residence in Clermont, Florida on October 7, 2024.

Tommy Junior went to North Miami Senior High School, graduating in 1972 and going to work for Friendly Ford. He spent most of his career as a teacher at Lindsay Hopkins Technical College, also serving as a member of the United Teachers of Dade. He had a passion for automotives and animals—rescuing all the strays that would pass through. He loved to work with his hands and build anything he could from a desk to a bookshelf. Despite a life with many health issues, his family liked to say, “he had a lot of lives”. He pushed through many struggles and would do anything to help his family and friends. He had a huge heart, was a loving husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, and will be missed by so many.

Tommy Junior is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda, his son Thomas, and his daughter Jennifer. He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas, and his mother Jean. He is survived by his daughter-in-law Jamie, his son-in-law Alex, his grandsons Henry, Sam, and Jack, and his granddaughter Amaya. He is also survived by his biological mother Esther, his sister Linda Sue, his half-brothers Jimmy and Richard, brothers-in-law Charles and Robert, uncles, aunts and many cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date, to be determined.
