Was a great friend all thru high school, we graduated together from PAHS in 1970! RIP MY FRIEND, and God rest your soul!

Tom and I were good friends all through high school, PAHS 1970, sorry to hear about his passing!

Prayers go out to Paul, Bobby and family. Keep the memories close to your heart always. They are what our lives are made up . Your cousin Donna

Thomas's Obituary

Thomas L. Quear, 71, of Pen Argyl, passed away, Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Easton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  He was the companion for the past 16 years of Joanne Jones of Bangor.

Born in Easton, August 29, 1952, he was the son of Paul Quear of Pen Argyl, and the late Lois (Cory) Quear. 

Tom was a 1970 graduate of Pen Argyl High School and a veteran of the US Coast Guard, serving from 1970-1972.

He was a life member of the Roseto Rod and Gun Club, a member of the Charles Nelson Lobb Post #502 of the American Legion, Pen Argyl, was past President of the Slate Belt Men’s Quoit League, he was Captain of the Pen Argyl Legion Men’s Pool team that played in both the Slate Belt and Blue Valley men’s pool leagues.

He enjoyed pitching quoits, shooting pool, hunting, fishing and shooting trap. 

In addition to his companion and father, he is survived by a son, Chad Caiazzo (Mary), a daughter, Lauren Licarie (Ron), grandchildren, Mason, Iris, Vera Jo, Rocco and Serafina, a brother Robert ( Lucia), and his dog Bailey. 

Memorial services will be held, Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 12 PM at the Dyle E. Bray, former VFW Post 739, 202 Veterans Road, Bangor, PA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to the Ruggiero Funeral Home, LLC, 126 E. Pennsylvania Avenue, Pen Argyl, PA 18072 to offset funeral expenses.
