Tom- I did not know you personally but I have the pleasure of knowing your daughter Chris and her family. Your loving influence and value of kindness is evident in your beautiful daughter and her family. I pray that you are enjoying your eternal reward knowing that your time here on earth was remarkable and the impact of your life will be felt for generations. You are missed. I pray for peace in your soul and the soul of those who had the privilege to know and to love you.
Rest...

Tom and I played high school football together at Normandy. He was a great linebacker and tremendous competitor! We will miss this special gentleman!

Just close your eyes and you will see
All the memories you have of me
Just sit and relax and you will find
I’m really still there inside your mind
Don’t cry for me now I’m gone
For I am in the land of song
There is no pain, there is no fear
So dry away that silent tear
Don’t think of me in the dark and cold
For here I am, no longer old
I’m in that placed filled with love
Known to you all, as “up above”
I didn’t know...

Doing what Tom Loved, Together, Group 6 and friends..
My Dear Buddy Tom, it is still so hard to think about and believe you have left us for the Big House. As hard as it is, you gave it your all and as we talked, the Lord has called you home, he knew you were tired. You are free my brother, free as free can be, fly high, fly patiently, fly over us daily, help us as you did here.. We Love you Thomas, as your Family Loved you, we grieve now and with your God Given Family. Love you Tom, until we meet again, One Day, One Minute at a Time.. Jeff Young

This is my dad.
Dad- I will miss you forever. I love you a whole lot. I’m sorry this happened to you. But dang- I never knew you had soooo many friends and people who also love you! You were one of the best people out here, dad. I love and miss you so much already. ~Chrissy

Rosemann, Thomas L. Wednesday, July 27, 2022. Loving and adored husband of Katherine (nee Tumulty). Enormously Beloved father to Christina (Jeffrey) Walewski, Bryan and William (Stacy). Abundantly cherished grandpa and Buddypal to Allison, Hollye, Alena, Branton, Julianne, Dominic, Mason, Audrey and Ty. Son of the late Bernard and Julia. Preceded in death by all his brothers- Don (Hilda), Jack (Jane), and Paul (Janice). He was a tremendously loved family member, friend and mentor.
Tom was a U.S. Air Force Veteran who served on active duty for four years, and was deployed to duty stations in Thailand, South Vietnam, Libya and Nellis AFB in Nevada.
Tom was an incredibly kind and loving man. If you were loved and cared for by Tom, you never questioned it. He found a huge value in making sure the people he loved and cared for- knew it- and would tell them so. He taught his kids this value as well….To be kind and make sure to tell those you love that you love them.
Tom loved golf and he had incredible friends at Berry Hill Golf Course.
Tom’s biggest accomplishment was getting and staying sober 36 years ago. He became a friend of Bill W., and changed his life - which then also changed and bettered the lives of his wife, children and countless others. He literally changed the world to a better place. He did so with the love and encouragement of his friends and members of Group 6 Bel-Nor. “Keep coming back, it works.”
Tom’s favorite movie has always been “It’s a Wonderful Life”. One of the last things Tom said before he left this earth was a quote from that movie-
“No man is a failure who has friends.”
In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Miriam School - a school for children with special educational needs. It was important to Tom that his granddaughter was able to attend such a wonderful school.
Memorial visitation Thursday, August 4, 5:00 PM until time of service 7:00 PM at COLLIER'S Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd. (St. Ann).
