Thomas's Obituary

 Thomas Charles Schneider III, 53, of Dalton, died Wednesday March 8th at Regional Hospital of Scranton. 

Born at Fort Bragg North Carolina, he was the son of Thomas C. Schneider Jr. and Dee Ann Cleeland Stephens. He attended Butler Community College and prior to his illness he was employed as a steam engine locomotive restoration specialist. 

Tom was the owner of CedarGlass Art. He was an exceptional Artesian and excelled in stained glass work. He also loved the outdoors especially Lake Manataka. Tom was a nurturing man who had a very kind and gentle heart for everyone he met, including animals. 

Surviving is the mother of his children Suzanne Dunn Schneider, Clarks Summit; a daughter Elise Katherine Collarini, Moosic; three sons Alexander Thomas Schneider, Kasey Thomas Schneider, and Andrew Jordan Schneider, all of Dalton; three sisters Elisabeth Charney and her husband Robert, Clarks Summit; Nicole Ann Lowe and her husband Ronald, Tunkhannock; and Jennifer Whitten Kearney, Clarks Summit; two grandsons Maximus Julius and Lincoln Thomas Collarini, and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 7 PM on Friday March 17, 2017 from the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 418 S. State St. Clarks Summit PA 18411, with services by Rev. William Townsend.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00 until time of service at the funeral home.
