Tommy was an amazing friend. Always ready to help anyone in need whether it was a place to stay or a hot meal. I will miss quoting certain movies with him that always made us laugh. Miss you Tommy rest in peace.

Thomas Merle States, 52, of Charleroi, died unexpectedly Thursday, April 17, 2025 in his home. He was born October 25, 1972 in New Eagle, the son of the late Harold Ralph and Carol Darlene Truitt States, Sr.
Tom was known for his BBQ ribs. They some how tasted better every time they were re-heated in the oven. He loved organizing and collecting movies and CD's. One of his favorite quotes was, "Almost only counts in horse shoes and hand grenades."
He is survived by his sister, Regina Kerlin of Monessen; brother, Harold R. States, Jr.; two nieces, Shannon Adams Gross and Amber Kerlin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Tammy Adams and his beloved cat, Tipper.
There are no visitations or services for Tom.
