I have enjoyed getting to know Tom over the last 9 years thru my Best Friend, his daughter Jennifer. I enjoyed talking to him about classic cars and loved his Pontiac. I went to his house one day to meet Jen and the music he was listening to was a band from 1987. I thought it was funny that my friend’s dad was listening to a band from 2 years after I graduated high school. That was when I discovered I was almost half way between their ages, 10 years older than Jen and only 13 years younger...

In the early 80’s mom (Fritz’s Poettgen Jackson) and I stayed with Aunt Millie while visiting MO and Chris, Tom and I went partying. Aunt Millie said Tom won’t go but he did and we had a great time. May he rest in peace. Cousin Judy Smith

I will miss Tom very much. He was a great neighbor and friend. I am so sad to hear of his passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family at this difficult time.
