Holly, I am so sorry to read of Tom’s death. We always thought a lot of him, and was glad to reconnect years ago on a business trip. Ann Sutton (wife of Jimmy, who died in June).

Tom and I graduated from High School the same time, and we both were in the same cirriculum at Wake Tech.
We became close friends quickly as we had a lot in common, and supported each other during the years we spent together, both in class and out of class. His family lived close to mine and we saw a LOT of each other and shared more than a few beers and good times.

I was saddened by the news in November when Tom reached out and told me that he was told he did not have much longer after fighting for so long. I was keeping him in my prayers and asked others to do so as well. I had sent him a St John Nuemann relic prayer card and hoped it would extend his time with his friends and family but everything is God's will.
