In Memory of My Cousin and Friend, Tom Toy
In the dream, the house is still there.
It exists outside of years and calendars.
Light drifts instead of falling.
Nothing is urgent.
The basement glows green, the pool table waiting as it always did.

Tom waiting for mom. Gentleman Tom.
Tom was my mom’s neighbor & he really helped mom. Tom would grill out for everyone in the summer. And the neighborhood dogs loved Tom.

Thomas Alan Toy, 70, of Henderson, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at The Waters Skilled Nursing Center in Rockport, Indiana.
He was born October 9, 1955, to the late Kenneth King Toy and Vinnie Katherine Toy (Trent) in Henderson. Thomas was a graduate of Henderson County High School. He was a veteran of the Army and served from 1977 to 1980. After retiring from Accuride, he went on to work at the local Cracker Barrel Restaurant for many years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Dennis and Stephen; his nephew, Jeremy Carter; and half-brother, Kenneth Wayne Toy.
Survivors include his sisters, Barbara Carter of Evansville, Indiana, and Kennie Toy of Henderson; his brother, Brian Toy (Debbie) of Henderson; his niece, Sarah Toy of Henderson; and half-sister, Wanda Constantinides of Sparta, North Carolina
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, January 2, 2026, at Rudy-Rowland Funeral Home. Pastor Clara DeBose will officiate.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time Friday at the funeral home.
