Tierra Chardel “Teedii Babii” Howard 

Tierra Chardel "Teedii Babii" Howard, age 36, was a native of Terrebonne Parish and a resident of Houma, Louisiana. She lived her life with a strength you could feel before she ever said a word. People remember Tierra's laugh-bold, unfiltered, and full of attitude. They remember her honesty, even when it came with an edge. They remember how she could read a room in seconds, how she trusted her instincts, and how she never backed down from anything or anyone. She was "Teedii Babii," a name that carried stories, scars, victories, and love. On Monday, March 9, 2026, Tierra's journey on this earth came to a close, but the story she wrote in the lives of those who loved her continues. She is survived by her parents, Todd (Jadi) Hartman, Sr. and Sacajawea (Jerome) Howard; her children, Sloudies Ke Mosley, JaVonta Howard, and Cierra Howard; and her grandchild, Kaiani Mosely. She is also survived by her siblings: Nyle Howard, Carson Nolan, Trenton Hartman, Todd Hartman, Jr., Shanice Banks, Danielle Hartman, De Carlos Hartman, Jada Fitch, Tatum Hartman, and Aubrey Folse. Her grandparents, Rudy (Cynthia) Hartman, Bernie Howard, Sr., and Cheryl Alston, along with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends, also cherish her memory. Tierra was preceded in death by her brother, Tristian Hartman; her grandparents, Charlene Moore and Carolyn Howard; her great-grandparents, Earline and Clifford Howard, Margarette Brown, and Carl Bailey; her aunt, Lyletha Howard; and the love of her life, Earline Howard, who raised her from a very young age. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life Service on Friday, March 20, 2026, at Dularge Community Baptist Church, 549 Andrew St., Houma, LA 70360, at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Deweyville Cemetery. Gertrude Geddes Willis -Terrebonne Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Guestbook available at www.gertrudegeddeswillis.com. For more information, call (985) 872-6934.
