Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Tim's passing. I met Tim when I started teaching at Sashabaw Middle School . Tim was an easy-going, funny, and with a wealth of teaching experience that he readily shared. He was interesting, witty, funny, flexible, and unique. He wore a different tie each day that fit the day. He loved 6th-grade camp and was invaluable in ensuring it ran smoothly and in resolving any crisis that arose during our week at camp. The one thing I remember was his use of what he called "hug a...

Growing up so close together was our mutual blessing. In our teens, we compared notes, discovering neither of us had a clue.

Went to college, got married, found careers, raised families, and always, just a phone call away.
Now sad for all who know and love you, left behind.

May the powder be fast along your timbered trails, and the sea waves and winds carry you safely o’re the horizon ‘til next we meet and we will.

Tim was the greatest ski trip planner ever! My husband and I had some great times going to Colorado with him. He was full of fun and always seemed to just enjoy life. So sorry to hear of his passing.

Sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. He was a teammate of mine at Sashabaw Middle School. I remember how he loved to ski. He also enjoyed 6th grade camp. He was in his element. He took great joy in lurking in the woods at night and scaring us women as we did our nightly cabin checks.
He was a good man!!

I'm so sorry to hear this. I never met Tim in person, but he sounded like a very nice person when I first found out that we were cousins a few years back. It's not good when the world loses a Hewelt!

I will miss you my friend. Thanks for the laughs...you always made it fun...thanks for the love and caring you showed us all...thanks for just being the nice guy you were...and thanks for bringing our families closer. Yes. I will miss you.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Jackie and family. Tim made this world a better place, and he will be deeply missed.

I had Mr. Hewelt his first year of teaching. Great guy! I now am retiring this year from teaching after over 45 blessed years. I became a teacher because of a string of teachers like Mr. Hewelt who I had great experiences with along my educational journey. Rest in peace.

Jacki & Family I am so sad to hear about Tim. I pray God to wrap you in His loving arms and comfort you through this tough time. Tim was a wonderful guy and so fun to talk to. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
