Not sure what to say?

I was so sad to hear of his passing. I happened to find him after many years just a few months ago. We were friends at UCI. He told me of his big challenge and he was going to tackle it head on. I will never forget our days at school when we would walk to class each day. His contagious smile still sits with me. My deepest condolences to all his family. What a wonderful man and friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Steve Straus

Timothy's Obituary

Timothy Michael Ciaccio passed away peacefully at home on March 22, 2015, after navigating a courageous journey against great odds to overcome Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Tim was born February 2, 1958, the son of Barbara and Michael Ciaccio. He grew up in Fullerton, California, graduated from Troy High School in 1976 and continued his education by earning his Bachelor of Science 1980 and his Master of Science Degree in 1981 at the University of California, Irvine. He had a very successful career in the field of Information Technology. He was proud of his accomplishments throughout his career. His last title of being Vice President of Information Technology for Pacera Pharmaceuticals brought him great joy and he knew how lucky he was to be among such gifted and compassionate colleagues. Tim is survived by his loving wife and faithful partner Bobbie Ciaccio; his children Christina, Michael, Steven, Madison and Ross; his two grandchildren Savannah and Brooklin; his father Michael Ciaccio; his sister Laura Hertneky and husband Randy; and countless other loving family members, mentors and friends. Tim lived bravely and courageously with his diagnosis. In many ways by inspiring and teaching everyone he came in contact with. He was determined to fight this disease and win. He did win. Tim did not lose his battle with cancer. He won his battle with cancer and, sadly, he died from his treatment. We take comfort knowing that Tim is with his Creator, and that he is at peace.Funeral services will be held at Newport Harbor Yacht Club on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 3:00 pm.
