Tim and I were born 7 days apart and spent summers during the war at our grandfather’s adjacent cottages on the Bluffs. Only scant memories of those times of course but plenty as members of the awesome Newport High class of 1961. Per our yearbook “Good and true are far and few.”

I have wonderful memories of Tim.We grew up together and graduated from Newport High School the same year.
Tim had a great sense of humor and was always entertaining to be around.Tim was a great friend.
He will truly be missed. May he rest in peace.

We were sad to read this news today. Mr. Hamblett was always a good neighbor and pleasant, honest man with whom to do business. It was obvious that his first priority was his family. Please accept our sincere condolences.
