Not sure what to say?

So sorry for the loss of a wonderful person who made so many lives better-and more fun. I was one class behind Tom at both Foundation school and Berea College.

Tom was a dear friend. His family and I did several things together, even traveling to and vacationing in Myrtle Beach and Sevierville. We always had so much fun. Tom's infectious smile and personality spread so quickly to everyone who met him. He and Barbara worked so hard on making our Foundation School reunions such a success. It was a pleasure organizing everything with them. His daughters were raised to be contributing examples of their parents love and passions. Job well done my friend....

What would the first half of the 1960s at Berea College have been without Tom? A boisterous, fun-loving friend to everyone that let him in and a mischievous nemesis to a few. It was such fun to be with him over the years when friends and Bereans gathered. He will be missed.

Tom was one of a kind. We remember how he used to greet people across the room with his booming voice, how he made us feel good. We loved him and will miss him. The world will not be the same.

From the moment I met Tom and Barbara I loved them! I’ve never met anyone quite like them. So thankful that our paths crossed, literally, at Journey Church. Tom was always jovial and loved drawing others in with his humor. I enjoyed hearing their life stories . They both were very special people; kind, happy, caring, generous, friendly, just great people!! Kristen, you are blessed to have such wonderful parents! Fortunately you have many of their good traits! I think of your parents every...

Tom was a great friend and truly one of a kind!! Our prayers go out to the family!

What a welcoming light you were to our Berea Foundation School class of ‘61.
I will truly miss your bright smile and warm wit at our Foundation School reunions! You were always so inclusive and jovial at those gatherings. Bless you for your courage and strength. You will be in our hearts and minds when we meet again.

Tom was a wonderful classmate and we shared so many stories. Tom was very instrumental in the development of the Foundation reunions that became so important to all of us. I loved this guy and I know he is taking charge in heaven. RIP Tom.

So sorry to hear of Tom's passing. He was certainly a people person who I always enjoyed talking to when he visited our family with Kristen and Adam. So glad you have the reassurance that he is with your mom now and you will see them both again someday, Kristen. Love and prayers to you and Adam.
