Tomas S. Alvarado Sr.

Tomas S. Alvarado Sr., born April 4, 1938, in San Antonio, Texas went to be with the Lord on November 5, 2025, at the age of 87. He is preceded in death by his mother, Consuelo Sanchez Martinez; stepfather, Marcos Martinez; brother, Trinidad Alvarado; grandmother, Maria de las Nieves (VeVe) Sanchez; great grandmother, Maria Torres; nephew, Michael Angel Alvarado; granddaughter, Genesis Esperanza Alvarado; grandson, Dominic Tomas Alvarado.

 He is survived by his loving wife, Aurelia Perez Alvarado; daughters, Maria Magdalena Alvarado-Garcia, Maria Nieves Alvarado, Enriqueta Alvarado Hernandez and husband Christopher Marcus Hernandez, and Jesusa Alvarado-Bautista; son, Tomas Perez Alvarado Jr. and wife Patricia Sanchez Alvarado; nephew, Trinidad Alvarado Jr., and James Alvarado; niece, Sylvia Ann Alvarado-Ramos; grandchildren, Joseph David Alvarado, Maria Nieves Antonia Alvarado, Cristobal Hernandez Jr., Victoria Hernandez (Adam), Elijah Lee Hernandez (Alicia), Aurelia A. Garcia, Reynaldo Garcia III, Jessica Marie Alvarado-Wolfe, Fernando Wolfe IV, Angelica Maria Alvarado-Wolfe, Aiden Bautista, and Alicia M. Alvarado; great grandchildren, Issac Joshua Garcia, Silas Eli Alvarado-Simonson, Christopher John Hernandez, Jacob Issac Hernandez, Maleeya Garcia Hernandez, and Makaylee Garcia Hernandez; various nephews, nieces, sisters-in-law, and brothers-in-law; friends and neighbors. His presence in our lives will be dearly missed.

Procession will depart Hillcrest on Friday, November 21, 2025, at 10:00 AM for a 11:00 AM graveside service at Wildflower Memorial Park.
