Tomasa's Obituary

Tomasa Galvan passed away on February 7, 2026, at the age of 83. She was born on December 21, 1942, to Alvino and Librada Garza. 

Ms. Galvan is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Matilde Galvan and her brothers, Aurelio Garza, Rafael Garza, Maximilio Garza, Salome, Garza and Ramon Garza and her extended Galvan family, Jose Luis Galvan, Linda Garcia, Matilde Galvan Jr., Myrta Galvan and Elvira Elsa Galvan.  

Ms. Galvan is survived by her children, Patricia Lou Perez, Elsa (Jose) Fierros, Diana Rogers, Tomas (Sandra) Perez, Ricardo (Rosario) Perez and Rosario Perez; siblings, Dominga Chavera, Alberta Vasquez and Raymundo Garza; her extended Galvan family, Olga Grout and Irene Galvan. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. 

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Peters Funeral Home from 5:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 10:00a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Cotulla East Cemetery.
